I’ve already started watching the drama, but I began writing this blog post before than. Thus the “soon to watch” of the title. Just ignore it this once. 🙂 A couple of months ago while listening to an episode of DramaKandy, I heard India talk about a new drama that Kamenashi and Yamapi would star in titled Boku Unmei no Hito desu. Instantly, I began to remember when I use to watch J-dramas frequently and how long it has been since I watched both actors together in Nobuta wo Produce. So
One of the things I’ve been looking forward to after moving to New York is the K-pop concerts that are held year after year. Yet after not being able to save up enough to go see Monsta X and GD in concert, I was left discouraged while trying to enjoy the content of both concerts online. Fortunately, that sentiment did not last long. Why? Well yesterday while scrolling through Facebook, I stumbled upon the pleasant surprise of K.A.R.D announcing the extension of their tour with the addition of 5 more
If anyone would have told me that I’d have the chance to attend KCON to interact with my favorite idols and get to know Kpopers from different parts of the country, I wouldn’t have believed them. I was convinced I wouldn’t be able to go, but thanks to the opportunity @B2STera gave me of being a volunteer for them at the convention, I was able to attend the concert on Friday. And since it was my first time attending the convention, I thought it’d be a good idea to tell
Last year, while scrolling through my Twitter timeline, I stumbled upon a tweet that sparked my curiosity. Jess (from the YouTube channel TheJessLyfe) had recently been a guest on a podcast named Jinjja Cha Podcast and was sharing the link on her timeline for everyone to listen to. Imagine my surprise when I clicked on the link and found out that, for one, Hallyu podcasts (aka Hallyucast) were a thing, and two, that this podcast had already released many episodes before this particular one. Why hadn’t I heard about this
One of the first things I wanted to do upon arriving in NY was to visit a library and borrow books. I’d been a long time since I was able to actually do that since the one back home in Puerto Rico had books geared more towards research. And since I knew it’d take a couple of days for me to get all my city documents ready, what better thing to do then read while I get everything done.
